"Do you make airline reservations?"
We don't make the reservations for you but we now offer two choices in our "Discount Air" section
that will give you a very good option with great rates.
We now are working with CVOA (The Caribbean Villa Owners Association) who are able to offer Onestop
clients discount airfares to Jamaica. You can call them toll free at 1-877-248-2862
and ask for the best rate. Be sure to tell them you're booking your accommodations through "Onestop".
The best fares are usually available within six weeks of your departure date but you can't always wait
'til the last minute or the flights may be filled.
We have found that it's usually less expensive to book your flight and accommodation separately.
"Does it cost more to book through you?"
No it doesn't. We charge the same rate as the resorts and throughout the year we may offer special rates
for "Onestop" clients.
"What advantage is there in booking through you?"
There are many advantages in booking through "Onestop".
- We are extremely familiar with Port Antonio and the resorts we represent
and will give you truthful, unbiased answers to your questions and concerns.
- We took all the photos on our site.
- We can be reached at almost any time of day, seven days a week at our toll-free number 1-877-651-7867
- We value your business, have a good working relationship with all our resorts
and will do our utmost to ensure that you have
a carefree and enjoyable vacation. We love Jamaica, appreciate it's charms and friendly people
and will be happy to answer any of your questions.
"When I book through you do I receive a confirmation?"
Once you have made your booking and we have received your deposit or payment you will be sent an official
confirmation including your information, your resort, dates, description of your accommodations
and the rate you paid.
"Are you a registered business?"
We've only been asked this a couple of times but "yes" we are fully registered and
contracted to the resorts we represent. We have been in business representing Jamaican resorts since 1998.
"Is Port Antonio safe?"
This is a question we often get asked as a result of "scare" tactics by ill-advised travel agents.
Port Antonio is very safe and clean.
"Is food expensive?"
Being an island, food is as expensive if not more expensive than back home.
Buying food to cook is best done at the local markets.
"When is hurricane season?"
Hurricane season starts at the end of August 'til about the middle of October. You don't have too much
to worry about, though, as a hurricane hits Jamaica about once every ten to fifteen years.
The last bad one was in 1988.
"What sights are there to see near Port Antonio or around Jamaica?"
We have just adding a large section devoted to all the interesting places to visit and sites to see.
Just click on "Things To Do" on the menu at left.
"What do I need to know about visiting Jamaica?"
Jamaica is an island of incredible natural beauty and diversity. Tourism is an integral part of their economy
and they welcome your visit. Please remember that you are a guest in their country. Be open to new experiences
and a slower pace of life. Go with an open mind and you will be rewarded with new friendships and an abiding respect for the people and their island.
"Do you offer travel insurance?"
Yes we do....just click on the "Insurance" button on the main menu.
All types of insurance are offered including trip cancellation, health, etc. through the Travel Insurance Center
